Where can I check flight schedules?

How do I purchase a ticket?

  • Travel on Air Wisconsin can be bought via this website or by calling our reservations center at1-833-705-8099.

    * Please note a small fee will be assessed for over-the-phone reservations.

  • Tickets for Air Wisconsin flights may also be purchased at an airport we serve when ticket counters are open (usually 2.5 hours before a scheduled departure).

What are accepted forms of payment?

  • Air Wisconsin accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Do you have a buy now and pay later option?

  • The option to book travel now and pay later is expected in the upcoming weeks.

What if I am unable to make my flight?

  • A refund may be requested for an unused reservation, or portion of a reservation, by contacting our reservations center at1-833-705-8099. Full fare and fees will be refunded if no part of the reservation has been flown, otherwise, a partial refund can be requested before the originally scheduled departure time.

How can I make a special services request?

  • If the option you need is not available through our online ticketing platform, please contact the reservations center at1-833-705-8099s. Any special service request must be made at least 48 hours before scheduled departure to be included in your reservation.

Luggage Questions

What are Checked Baggage Charges?

  • 1st Bag – Free
  • 2nd Bag - $50
  • 3rd Bag - $50
  • Active-Duty Military Personnel with active-duty U.S. military ID and travel orders are allowed 2 Free Checked Bags.

How much can my checked bag weigh?

  • Checked bags cannot exceed 50lbs.
  • Checked bags weighing over 50 lbs but less than 75 lbs are subject to the Overweight Charge.
    • The Overweight Charge is $50 per bag in addition to the Checked Bag Charge.
    • Bags weighing over 75 lbs will only be accepted by Air Wisconsin at its discretion.
    • Exception: Active-duty U.S. military passengers and military recruit passengers and their dependents eligible for the U.S. military baggage charge waiver may check bags which weigh 70 pounds or less without incurring an overweight fee.

What is considered Oversized Baggage?

  • Each piece over 62 inches in length shall be subject to an Oversized Charge in addition to any applicable Checked Baggage Charge.
  • Exception: Active-duty U.S. military Passengers and military recruit Passengers and their dependents eligible for the U.S. military Baggage charge waiver may check bags up to 115 linear inches without incurring an oversize charge.

What can I bring?

  • Federal law prohibits the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft, in your luggage, or on your person.
  • All liquids in a carry-on bag cannot be more than 3.4 ounces. These should be packed in a clear quart size bag.
  • Air Wisconsin is not responsible for damage to fragile or perishable items transported in Checked Baggage. This includes:

What are the maximum dimensions of a Carry-On Bag?

  • Bags must not exceed 9"H x 14"W x 22"L.
  • Carry-On Bags must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.

Are there exceptions for Carry-On Items?

  • Yes! The following items do not count against the carry-on and personal item limit:
    • Coats, hats, or umbrellas
    • Reasonable amount of reading material
    • Infant/Child safety seats, baby carrier backpack, strollers (based on space availability; space guaranteed only with the purchase of a ticket for the Infant)
    • Mobility/Medical Assistive Devices, such as wheelchairs, canes, crutches, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines, portable oxygen concentrator (POC), etc.
    • Service Animals
    • Food for immediate consumption
    • A pillow for personal use

Can I travel with a firearm?

  • Firearms and ammunition will be accepted as Checked Baggage.
  • Handguns must be unloaded and packed in a crush-proof or hard sided, lockable container. Firearm containers must lock with a key or lock combination that remains in possession of the passenger and must be locked by the passenger in the presence of Air Wisconsin.
  • Baggage containing firearms will not knowingly be accepted for transportation at point of origin or at an online or interline connecting point unless a declaration, signed and dated on the day the baggage is accepted for transportation, is placed inside the case containing the firearms, declaring that the firearms are not loaded.
  • Ammunition must be securely packed in the original manufacturer's package or in a container designed for ammunition and of sufficient strength to protect it from accidental crushing or discharge (i.e. wood, fiber, plastic, or metal). The projectile must be no larger than 11/16" in diameter, the size of a dime. Ammunition may be checked with or separately from the firearm. It can only be accepted inside an ammunition clip if enclosed inside a suitcase, firearm case, etc. Ammunition purchased over the counter for rifles and pistols (.50 caliber or smaller, and 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 28 and .410 shotgun shells) are acceptable as Baggage provided they are packaged properly. Dragon Breath shotgun shells are forbidden.
  • Firearms (all rifles), other than handguns, must be packed with the bolt (if included) removed when possible, and/or the action in an open position. Passengers picking up their rifle case(s) are required to present photo ID or claim checks at the baggage claim or ticket counter area.
  • Firearms and ammunition may not be checked to foreign destinations involving a Connection to another Carrier. Passengers need to reclaim their firearms(s) and ammunition at the final Air Wisconsin destination and check it directly with the other Carrier.
  • Firearms and ammunition may be checked for domestic travel involving a Connection to another Carrier other than Air Wisconsin subject to the acceptance policy of the other Carrier. The passenger shall verify the specific policy of the other Carrier prior to checking these items.
  • Minors under 18 may not transport a firearm(s)/ammunition.

What are the limitations for Sporting Equipment?

  • Unless noted Sports Equipment must meet the requirements for Checked Baggage.
  • Bicycles must be in a hard-sided bicycle box or container with handlebars turned sideways, protruding pedals and accessories removed.
  • Camping self-heating meals are not permitted.
  • Scuba equipment must disconnect the regulator valve and the tank must have an opening for visual inspection.
  • Ski equipment may exceed 62 inches without incurring an Oversize Charge.
  • Surfboards/Paddleboards are not allowed.

Flying With Animals

What is considered a Service Animal?

  • Service Animals are defined by the U.S. Department of Transportation regulations (14 C.F.R. Part 382). The following form is required and must be submitted to Air Wisconsin at least 48 hours in advance when traveling with a service animal: U.S. Department of Transportation Service Animal Air Transportation Form
  • Air Wisconsin accepts one (1) Service Animal per Passenger who is a Qualified Individual with a Disability and who requires a Service Animal to accompany and assist him/her by doing work or performing tasks for the benefit of that Passenger.
  • Passengers with a Service Animal will not be seated in an emergency row and must not obstruct an aisle.

Can I travel with my pet?

  • Yes, but only one pet cage or container is allowed per passenger.
  • Only domesticated cats and dogs are allowed.
    • Each container may contain up to two animals of the same species.
    • The container must be stored under the seat directly in front of the passenger's seat at all times.
    • Maximum hard-sided container size is 17in x 11in x 7½in.
    • Maximum soft-sided container size is 17in x 11in x 9½in.
    • Containers made entirely of wire are not accepted.
    • The pet and container combined weight cannot exceed 20 lbs.
    • There is a Pet in Cabin $100 charge.
    • Pit bulls are only accepted as Service Animals.
  • A maximum of five (5) containers are allowed on a flight.
  • Animals are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Preparing for Take-Off

What type of aircraft can I expect for my Air Wisconsin flight?

  • All Air Wisconsin flights are operated with the Bombardier CRJ-200.
  • Our aircraft have four emergency exits, one main entrance, one lavatory, 13 seat rows and 50 passenger seats total.

  • All flights are operated with a flight crew of two and a flight attendant for your safety and comfort.

When do I check in?

  • Check-in begins 24 hours prior to scheduled departure and may be accomplished on our website or at the airport.
  • Check-in at the airport begins 4 hours before scheduled departure time, or when the check-in counter opens.

How do I get my boarding pass?

  • If you have checked in online, your boarding pass will automatically be emailed to the email address used to book the reservation.
  • If you do not have access to a printer, you may request a boarding pass from our agents at the airport check-in counter.

When do I need to be at the airport?

  • We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before scheduled departure for a domestic flight and 3 hours before scheduled departure for an international flight.
  • Cut-off for check-in happens 1 hour before scheduled departure. After that time, checked luggage will not be accepted and your reservation and seat assignment may be canceled.
  • Reservations and seat assignments may be canceled if you are not at the departure gate at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

What documents do I need for travel?
